Into The White Room - Chris Benchetler

¥2,200
The latest in Gogglesock's artist collaboration collection is the 2023 new limited edition collection with legendary freeskier Chris Benchetler, one of the most influential people in the modern ski scene. One of the most progressive backcountry skiers, Chris has already been inducted into the Freeski Hall of Fame.

Growing up in Bishop, California, Chris Benshetler was always surrounded by Mammoth Mountain and the Sierra Nevada. This immersive experience helped me grow as an artist. His artwork has a completely unique style. The inspiration he gleaned from his time spent in the extremes of nature influences his depiction of shapes, lines, and characters.

Gogglesock worked closely with Chris to select his pieces that reflected our mutual love of nature and the outdoors. We are proud to be able to bring this artwork to life. Introducing the gogglesoc X Chris Benchetler collection, limited to the 2021 season.

Goggle socks are goggle protective cover cases made in Whistler, Canada. The product is quite simple. Just place it over your goggle frame and it will always protect your goggle lenses.

The 100% recycled microfiber/polyester soft cover not only protects the lens surface, but also provides breathability and is fully machine washable. Fits any goggles. Not only can it be used as a protective cover for storing après-ski while on the go, while taking a break, but it can also be worn as a protective cover when wearing goggles over a helmet or beanie. No more need for plain storage bags or bulky hard cases.

Fabrics

Materials: 100% recycled microfiber polyester goggle socks made from rPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate) recycled plastic bottles. You can make 3 goggle socks from 1 plastic bottle. We can't change the world alone, but by making goggle socks from recycled plastic bottles, we can conserve resources and keep trash out of landfills. Do your part and make your lenses last longer.

Care instructions

Machine washable. Wash with like colors in normal wash cycle. Do not use bleach. Air dry or tumble dry. Please do not iron. Dry clean if you like (although this may be overkill for goggle socks!)

Good To Be Green

At Gogglesock, we believe in reducing our ecological footprint as much as possible. Goggle Sock uses rPET fabric, a reusable and sustainable material made from recycled plastic bottles, for all eyewear accessories. Additionally, we use recycled chopsticks for all product displays.

Cool To Be Kind

Gogglesock partners with charities around the world, including environmental causes.

Protect Our Winter
Gogglesock is a support brand of Protect Our Winter (POW), founded in 2007 by professional snowboarder Jeremy Jones. POW is a non-profit organization working to protect the limited amount of snow in the global environment. The POW charity model of goggle socks donates $5 from each sale to POW, supporting the outdoor sports world's efforts to combat climate change.

1% For The Planet
Gogglesock is a member of 1% for the Planet. We donate 1% of goggle sock sales to environmental conservation organizations and non-profit organizations working to improve communities surrounding the mountains.

- Will goggle socks fit my goggles?
Goggle socks are one size product. Depending on the size of your goggles, goggle socks may not work well with them. We do not recommend purchasing goggle socks for children's goggles (under 5 years old). Also, goggle socks may not work well on some adult frames. If you have any questions, please email us at shop@sputnikshop.jp.

- What are goggle socks made of?
All goggle socks are made of 88% rPET and 12% spandex. Recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET for short) is manufactured using recycled post-consumer plastic bottles. Spandex is used in the manufacturing of the product to give the goggles a snug, stretchy feel.

- Can I wipe the lens with a goggle sock?
Yes, I can. The microfiber fabric used is suitable for cleaning the lenses and can also protect them from scratches.

- Where can I buy goggle socks?
Goggle Sock products are sold at thousands of retail stores around the world. We cannot tell you which products or prints we sell, but please use our store locator to find a store near you.

- How are goggle socks different from traditional goggle bags?
Unlike goggle bags, you can protect your goggles while wearing them on your head or helmet. It's easier and more convenient than a bag-like goggle bag or case.

- Where are goggle socks made?
Goggle socks are made in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible factory in Cambodia.

- Are goggle socks waterproof?
Goggle socks are meant to keep your lenses dry during light snowfall, but they are not intended to be waterproof.
